Shiner softball:LC average 22 runs a game in two district wins last week

    The Shiner Lady Comanches won two district games last week against Louise and Flatonia, outscoring the opponents 44-7.
    Shiner 26, Flatonia 7
    Riley Rainosek, Rylee Vancura and Kailey Boedeker each had a home run while Addy Siegel got three hits, a double, a triple, had two RBI and scored five runs in Shiner’s 26-7 demolishment of Flatonia Friday on the road.
    Shiner led 7-0 after one inning and upped their lead to 8-0 after two.
    The Lady Comanches outscored Flatonia 4-2 in the third; the Lady Bulldogs had the advantage in the fourth inning 4-3. Shiner brought in 11 runs in the fourth while Flatonia plated one run.
    Teresa Olivas pitched three innings with four runs on five hits, one wild pitch, one batter hit, two walks and five strikeouts; Dyllan Chrismon went two innings, two hits, three runs, one strikeout.
    Vancura had three putouts on defense.

    Shiner 18, Louise 0
    The Lady Comanches got just three hits in an 18-0 mercy-rule win in three innings over Louise on March 7 but earned 14 walks, had two batters hit and stole 11 bases.
    Shiner scored five runs in the first and 13 in the second.
    Paeden Vincik had a grand slam, scored two runs and four total RBI. Vancura and Brinley Ramirez each had a hit and scored three runs; Olivas had three runs.
    Vincik pitched 2 1/3 innings with one hit, one wild pitch, one walk and three strikeouts; Addy Siegel worked 2/3 innings.
    Siegel and Vancura each had two putouts in the field.
