Yoakum baseball: Bulldogs get 14 hits in close loss to Edna to end season

Ethan Franklin and Will Robbins each had three hits, and Yoakum had 14 total but came up short at Edna April 25 9-6 to close out the season.
Yoakum went up 2-0 in the top of the third and Edna scored five in the bottom of the inning.
Each team scored one run in the fourth frame and the Cowboys went up 9-3 after five innings. Yoakum continued to battle scoring a run in the sixth and two more in the seventh.
Wyatt Hanzelka went the distance on the mound with 18 hits, nine runs, a walk and four strikeouts in six innings.
Sutton Pavliska and Corey Gomez had three putouts and one assist each.
