Indianettes pummel hapless Bucs, 25-0
Sacred Heart easily had things its way in the TAPPS area round game at Hallettsville City Park Wednesday, May 10.
The Indianettes abused the Buccaneers, 25-0, with just about everybody and their sister scoring or having a hit.
Hailey Noska retired all 9 batters she faced in the three-inning contest and recorded 7 strikeouts.
The rout started with 15 runs in the first inning on 7 hits a walk and 3 errors.
Ella Demel, Avery Beach, Karley Kostelnik Ava Lackey and Noska all had RBI hits in the frame. Lackey’s hit was a double.
The final 15 runs were scored in the 2nd inning.
Rylan Dworsky, who went 4-for-4 with 4 runs, drove in two runs with a single in the inning and Kaylie Fikac knocked in two more with a base hit.
The Indianettes collected 17 hits. Avery Beach was 3-for-4 with a double; Lackey 2-for4 with two runs batted in; Arcely Guzman doubled; Ella Demel, Jules Janak Kaylie Fikac and Noska all singled
The Indianettes played Bryan Brazos Christian and a win would put them in the state tournament at UTArlington Thursday
