Indianettes go 2-3 in Shiner Tournament
SHINER – Sacred Heart won two of three matches in the to open the Shiner Tournament Friday prior to losing the next two in Gold Bracket play Saturday.
Annika Brooks was named to the all-tournament team.
The Indianettes are 4-3 on the season and coach Wanda Orsak said, “It was a great tournament for us. It didn’t quite go our way Saturday, but I felt we improved so much from last week.
“We have a lot of talent and trying to put it all together.”

The Indianettes won the first set with a 4-0 run after holding a slim one-point lead. Annika Brooks’ 2 kills and a Flatonia service error closed out the set.
SH broke an 18-all tie by out-scoring the Lady Bulldogs 7-1 to close out the second set.
Kalynn Fikac began the surge with an ace, Brooks had 2 kills and Flatonia a double hit for four of the points.
