Design contest to determine the new 2023-2024 ‘I Voted’ and ‘Future Voter’ stickers for Lavaca County
The Lavaca County Elections Department announces Lavaca County’s first “I Voted” and “Future Voter” sticker design contest.
The contest is open to all Lavaca County students, PreK-12, enrolled in a Public, Private, or Homeschool setting. The winning designs will be used as the official “I Voted” and “Future Voter” sticker in the 2023-2024 Election cycle.
The deadline to submit a design is Friday, Sept. 22 at 5 p.m.
“The Lavaca County Elections Department is excited to engage its students in the electoral process by offering the opportunity to design a limited-edition sticker for Lavaca County residents. We look forward to seeing the creativity and talent Lavaca County Students have to offer,” said Elections Administrator Amy Kloesel.
Once all designs are submitted, a panel of esteemed judges will pick the winning design. Judging will be based on theme, uniqueness of the design, and artistry. The design should be non-partisan. Party affiliated designs will be disqualified.
Winners will be notified by the Lavaca Elections Department on Monday, Sept. 25. Winners will be announced at Commissioners Court on Monday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. The winning design will be displaced at the Kolache Fest at the Lavaca County Elections’ booth Sept. 30.
Participants must agree to the contests official rules and submit their design by completing an “I Voted” and “Future Voter” Sticker Design Entry Form.
All Submissions must be sent to elections@co.Lavaca.tx.us by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22.
