St. Paul football: Cards hold off Geneva 49-43

St. Paul had three backs each rush for over 100 yards as the Cardinals held off Boerne Geneva 49-43 Friday in Boerne.
Nate Boedeker led with 193 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns.
 Sam Perez rushed a dozen times for 126 yards and caught a 6-yard touchdown pass.
Zane Barta ran 18 times for 113 yards and a trio of touchdowns.
Zeke Rodriguez passed for just 5 yards with one touchdown.
Perez had one kickoff return for 13 yards and he punted one time for 25 yards.
Blaine Humes had one interception.
