Patricia Ann Vollintine

Patricia Ann Vollintine, also known as Patricia, peacefully passed away in Hallettsville on Aug. 14, 2023, at the age of 80.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1943, in Dalhart. 

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Candy Jean Klare; her sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Keith Pleasants; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Christopher and Shannon Klare; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Nikki Klare and Ryan Upchurch, as well as two great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brother, James M. Vollintine; aunts and uncles.

Patricia received her education at LaVega High School and went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Texas Lutheran University in 1963 and a Bachelor's Degree in 1995. 

Throughout her career, she worked at General Dynamics, Better Beverages-Pepsi Bottling Group, D&W Fur Company, and dedicated her time as a Volunteer Coordinator for the American Heart Association.

Patricia found solace and community in her faith. She worshipped at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus and St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Hallettsville. Her faith was an integral part of her life.

A memorial service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Hallettsville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, or Lucie's Project Dog Rescue. These organizations held a special place in Patricia's heart, and donations in her memory would be greatly appreciated.

Patricia Ann Vollintine will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her kind spirit, loving nature, and dedication to her community will be remembered and cherished forever.
