Shiner cross-country: Lady Comanches win district title; Boehm qualifies for regional
The Shiner Lady Comanches claimed the 28-2A varsity girls cross-country team title on Monday at Green-Dixon Park.
Hayleigh Burns won the individual title with a time of 12 minutes, 43.76 seconds.
Emma Joslin was eighth with 13:55.88 and Erin Pustka was No. 10 with a time of 13:58.04.
Jo Caka was No. 19 with 14:33.12; Callie Chrismon was No. 21 with a time of 14:49.01, Megan Burns was No. 26 in 15:17.71 and Eve Roberts was timed at 15:50.04 for No. 31.
The Comanches had three runners and were led by Boe Boehm who was eighth in 20:07.27. Landen Christensen was No. 11 in 20:53.25 and Elijah Mesa was No. 16 in 22:23.99.
The Lady Comanches team and Boehm will competed in the Region IV-2A meet Oct. 23-24 in Corpus Christi.
