'Nettes Take 3 From PCL

    The Sacred Heart Indianettes have lost only one set in TAPPS District 5, Division I play and that was to Pflugerville Concordia Lutheran.

    The Indianettes took on Pflugerville Concordia here Tuesday, Oct. 10 and came out 25-18, 25-19, 26- 24 victors.

    The Indianettes are 22-8 and 12-0 and played an important match with St. Paul Tuesday night.

    Elena Grahmann and Annika Brooks both had a double-double for the Indianettes. Grahmann put down 10 kills with 10 assists and Annika Brooks 18 kills and 13 digs.

    SH jumped out to a 12-2 lead in the first set. The Cardinals made a 13-3 run to cut the lead to 17- 15 but four unanswered points led by Brooks’ 2 kills and one by Grahmann put them over the hump, 25-18.

    Grahmann’s 6 kills in set No. 2 led the Indianettes to a 25-19 victory.

    Brooks had 6 successful swings in the third set.

    The Indianettes trailed at one point, 13-6 in the third. It came down to the wire after the Cardinals led 24-23, but SH regrouped to pull out a 26-24 win.
