Shiner Baptist Church donates to Operation Christmas Child

    Operation Christmas Child is a mission that demonstrates God’s love to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with churches worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Samaritan’s Purse has collected shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. The project delivers for many kids, their first gift ever, and also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love. This year, Shiner Baptist Church members came together and collected items to fill 127 boxes. Emersen Linn organized this year’s annual packing party and delivered the boxes along with a monetary donation to the central drop-off location, First Baptist Church in Smithville.
