Tina Marie Chovanetz

Tina Marie Chovanetz, 47, of Fulshear, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023 from complications due to cancer.

She was born in Hallettsville on Oct. 20, 1976 to Linda Tobola and Ellis Pitre. 

Tina graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1995 then went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Houston-Victoria. 

Tina married Kevin Chovanetz on March 20, 1999 and resided in Victoria, until relocating to the Houston area in 2007. Tina worked as an accounting manager until their son, Konnor was born on May 25, 2013. After the birth of their child, she dedicated herself to being an amazing mother to Konnor.  She enjoyed traveling, scuba-diving, being a dog Momma to Corbitt, and a little fun at the casinos from time to time.   

Tina was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Victor and Evelyn Tobola; her father, Ellis Pitre; aunt, Carolyn Tobola and uncle, Jim Tobola. 

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Chovanetz, son, Konnor Chovanetz; adopted dog, Corbitt; mother, Linda Tobola; uncle, Ed and Lucy Tobola; aunt, Shirley Tobola; aunt, Margaret Smith; uncle, Ronnie and Judy Tobola, and uncle, Donnie and Libby Tobola.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Hallettsville.

 In lieu of flowers,  the family kindly asks for donations to Konnor’s educational fund.
