Brahma JV wins Weimar tournament
WEIMAR – The Hallettsville JV Maroon went unscathed in winning the Weimar Jr. Varsity Tournament over the weekend.
Hallettsville 39, Fayetteville 36
The Brahmas held off the Lions in the fourth period in the win Saturday. The Brahmas led 20-9 at the half.
Kyle Svetlik led the Brahmas with 12 points.

Chaseton Ford’s 16 points led the Brahmas to an easy 49-18 win over Weimar Thursday.

Two players were in double figures in the 45-40 victory over Rice Consolidated Saturday.
Jack Amsden canned 17 points and Kyle Svetlik 11 to lead the victory.
