St. Paul boys basketball: Cards win district opener against CPS
A 17-3 run in the third quarter by the St. Paul boys basketball team was instrumental in helping them down Cedar Park Summit Christian Academy 44-7 on the road Dec. 8 in the district opener.
Jackson Seibert had double-digit scoring with 10 points and Zane Barta dropped down nine points.
St. Paul led 12-2 after the initial quarter and scored just five but ceded zero in the second frame. With a 34-5 lead after three periods complete, St. Paul went on a 10-2 run in the game’s final eight minutes.
