St. Paul girls basketball: Lady Cards defeat Allen Academy

Dallyn Pesek registered 20 points, Kristin Cerny contributed 12 points and Brooke Cerny finished with 10 points to lead St. Paul to a 61-44 rout of Bryan Allen Academy Monday in Allen in its final game before Christmas.
St. Paul worked to a 10-6 lead at the end of the first period and outscored Allen Academy 19-17 in second quarter.
The Lady Cards put plenty of daylight between themselves and Allen Academy with a 15-7 run in the third square and scored 17 of 31 points in the fourth stanza.
