Moulton boys basketball: Katz beat Pettus in district game

Trent Meisetschleager netted 15 points and Tyler Siegel hit another 14 points as the Katz earned a 52-44 district win at Pettus on Friday.
Pettus was led by 10 points by Ramon Reyna.
The Katz gained an 18-16 advantage in the first frame and outscored the Eagles 12-11 in the second box for a 30-27 halftime lead.
The Katz took control with an 18-10 run in the third box for a 48-32 margin before Pettus attempted to get back in the game with a 7-4 run in the fourth period.
