'Nettes decision Concordia, Waldorf

Sacred Heart won both of its games last week to stay undefeated in TAPPS District 5, Division IV.

The Indianettes defeated Austin Waldorf, 30-27, in a low-scoring contest in Austin Thursday.

The score was knotted at 23-all going into the final eight minutes before the Indianettes held the Roadrunners to 4 points in the fourth quarter and got 4 points from Heather Wilson for the margin of victory.

Waldorf had a 12-10 lead at the end of the first period prior to the Indianettes going ahead 19-14 at the intermission after Aleigh Kraatz scored 4 points and Kenzie Chance hit a trey.

Wilson led the Indianettes with 10 points and Chance scored 9.

SH made 2 of 9 free throws and the Roadrunners 6 of 10.

The Indianettes routed Pflugerville Concordia, 62-35, in a road victory.

The scores were 21-5, 31-14 and 49-24 at the three breaks.

Three players were in double figures with Ava Lackey scoring 15 points, Kaycee Schindler 12 and Aleigh Kraatz 11. Lackey scored 6 points in both of the first and second quarters.
