Lundy qualifies for regional

    Hallettsville Lady Brahmas swimmer Lauren Lundy qualified for regional as a result of her performances at the District 14-4A meet Friday, Jan. 19 at the Northside ISD.

    Lundy, who was named the Female Athlete of the Meet, won both the 50-yd freestyle (26.58 seconds) and 100-yd freestyle with a personal record of 59.59 seconds.

    Sarah Estrada set a personal record in the 50-yd freestyle.

    The regional meet will be Friday and Saturday at the Southside ISD Aquatic Center in San Antonio.
