SJS Tiger Track Team competes in three meets

    The St Joseph School (SJS) Tiger Track and Field competed on Feb. 26 at Hallettsville-Sacred Heart in the 800-meter run, SJS Tiger 5th grade girls: Faith Boysen, 4th place; SJS Tiger 8th grade boys: Dominic Novak, 3rd place (2:28:89); shot put, SJS Tiger 8th grade boys: Ty Smith, 1st place (36’06”) and N i ck A d a m e k , 3 rd place (34’04”).

    On March 2 at Weimar-St. Michael, SJS Tiger 8th grade boys: shot put, Ty Smith, 1st place (37’02”) and Nick Adamek, 2nd place (33’11”); 1600-meter run, Dominic Novak, 3rd place (5:37); 800-meter run, Dominic Novak, 2nd place; 400-meter run, Dominic Novak, 2nd place (102:77); SJS Tiger 6th grade boys: 800-meter run, Joseph Novak, 2nd place.

    On March 6 at El Campo-St. Philip, SJS Tiger 8th grade boys: shot put, Ty Smith, 1st place (37’10”) and Nick Adamek, 2nd place (36’05”); 800-meter run, Dominic Novak, 2nd place (2:23:81); 400-meter run, Dominic Novak, 4th place (1:01:18); SJS Tiger 6th grade boys: 800-meter run, Joseph Novak, 2nd place; SJS Tiger girls 5th grade: 800-meter run, Faith Boysen, 2nd place.
