Shiner baseball: Shiner hammers BHS 25-0

The Shiner Comanches exploded for 20 runs in the fourth inning to demolish Bloomington 25-0 March 12 in Bloomington.
The Comanches led just 1-0 after the first inning and did not score a run in the second frame.
Shiner scored a quartet of runs in the third frame before coming alive in the fourth inning.
Bode Werner pitched a two-hit shutout with four walks and struck out 10, facing 17 batters.
Shiner got 16 total hits — Carson Schuette was 2-for-3, four runs, double, triple, two RBI, stolen base; Cale Shows hit 2-for-3, four runs, double, triple, three RBI and two stolen bases; Boe Boehm scored one run; Landyn Pohler finished 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs; Jake Simper went 1-for-2 with two runs, double, RBI, two stolen bases. 
Werner was 1-for-2, double, two RBI and two runs; Preston Todd hit 1-for-1; Charlie Clifford was 1-for-3, two runs, two RBI; Kyle Zaruba added one run and one RBI; Kaiden Boothe, 2-for-3, double, RBI, one stolen base; Jacob Nerada was 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI, and Caleb Lehnert finished 2-for-3, three runs, double, two RBI and two stolen bases.
