Moulton Little League kicked off opening ceremonies

The Moulton Little League opening ceremonies were held March 23 at the Little League Field. This year, there were about 90 players. A total of ten teams were there including five T-Ball teams, one coach pitch girls team, one coach pitch boys baseball team, two minor girls softball teams, and one major boys baseball team.
The kick-off started with the welcoming of the opening ceremonies to all the parents and youths. Then there was a presentation of the flags by the American Legion representative Boise Etlinger. Rev. Herb Beyer said a prayer and the Moulton High School Band from 1988 performed the National Anthem.
“After that, our MC April Simper introduced all the teams as they went out onto the field and the teams did some fielding and took their photo,” Little League President Brenda Kram said.
Everyone there was very engaged, according to Kram.
“It was a wonderful and beautiful day for weather, and everybody had a great time,” Kram said. “It was a very good day and I want to thank everyone who helped us with the presentation and introduction of the teams.”
Each player was given a voucher to the concession stand.
There was a raffle drawing that day as well. The first top seller for the raffle tickets was Conner Kloesel, second top seller, Lincoln Perez, and third top seller, Adalyn Jones.
