Shiner girls golf: Whiddon, LC golfers win district crown

    The Shiner Lady Comanches golf team picked up the district title last week to advance to regionals as a team. 
    Shiner had a tean score of 406, led by Chelsea Whiddon who had an 89 for second medalist. Brianna Sofka had a 104; Grace Migl carded a 105; Morgan Lenehan had a 108 and Callie Chrismon finished with a 108.
    The Shiner B team placed fifth with a score of 542. Olivia Akin carded a 122; Jaeleigh Ramirez scored a 135; Chesney Machacek recorded a 138 while Evy Johnson and Maddie Collins had a 147.
