    Shiner recently competed in the 28-2A tennis tournament, taking home the district championship.
    In girls doubles, Meghan Blaschke and Chesney Machacek came in second. In girls singles, Callie Chrismon took first and Jennifer Arellano got third.
    In boys doubles, Kye Adamek and Dylan Cerny got first while Kyle Muehlstein and Reese Carson earned third.
    In boys singles, Marco Lara got second and Kade Remschel took third place.
    In mixed doubles, Tyler Hemphill and Kylynn Ramirez got first with Aidan Stowe and Bianca Rainosek picking up third place.
