Softball, baseball players win Academic All-State honors

Members of the Yoakum High School (YHS) Softball and Baseball Teams received academic awards.

Receiving the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Academic All-State Softball are Macie Blakeney (First Team), Addison Pekar (Second Team), and Lexi Zaruba (Second Team).

For the THSCA Academic All-State Baseball: Wyatt Hanzelka was named to the First Team and Ty Gordon received Honorable Mention.
