Janet Reindl

Janet Elaine Reindl, 84, of Shiner, joined her heavenly family, Sunday, May 12, 2024. 
She was born December 2, 1939 in Beeville to Albert and Irene (Mussman) Gregorcyk.
Janet was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was a great-grandmother known as “Gaggy” because her oldest of seven grandsons could not say “grandma”. She had a smile that made you smile too! She was married to her beloved Jimmy Reindl for 54 years until his passing on December 11, 2013.  
She worked as an Executive Assistant in Houston until she and Jimmy retired to Shiner in 2002. Her faith carried her through the most difficult times in life and she leaves behind a legacy of strength, love and faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Parker of Tomball and Delaine Reindl Sutak (Steve) of Willis; daughter-in-law, Tamara Reindl Parris (Chris) of Spring and daughter of her heart, Susan Hopkins Medsger; grandchildren, Kevin Parker, Chris Parker, Cory Reindl (Bridgett), Lannon Reindl, Dustin Sutak, Devin Sutak and Amanda Llana; four great-grandchildren, Kaylynn and Coen Reindl and Emma and Abby Llana; and brother, Scott Gregorcyk of Beaumont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Reindl; sons, Wade Reindl and Todd Reindl; her parents; grandson, B.J. Parker; son-in-law, Walter Parker; and brother, Wallis Gregorcyk.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 17 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bryan Heyer officiating. 
Burial followed at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Shiner Pilot Club.
