Rebecca ‘Becky’ Hermes Stastny

Rebecca ‘Becky’ Hermes Stastny danced into heaven on May 17, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. 
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated  Monday, May 27 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hallettsville with Msgr. Jim Henke officiating.  
The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11 a.m. The Rosary will be recited at 11 a.m., with the Mass immediately following.
A luncheon will follow the Mass at St. Mary’s Parish Hall. 
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Adele Hermes, and brother, Jodie Hermes.  
She is survived by her daughters, Vanessa (Chris) Cantu of Victoria and Marisa (Robert) Maes of Weimar and husband, Larry Stastny.  
Becky’s memory will be forever honored by her family: sister, Jeanette (Donald) McAfee; brothers, Tommy (Joyce) Hermes, Kenneth (Lora) Hermes, Ronnie (Maria) Hermes and all her nieces and nephews.
