Shiner softball: Lady Comanches have six picked for All-State softball

The 2024 UIL softball 2A state champions Shiner Lady Comanches had plenty of players win All-State and All-District awards.
All State
The Lady Comanches had six players chosen for the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-State Team, the most for a single school in the state.
Seniors Paeden Vincik and Rylee Vancura, juniors Kailey Boedeker and Brinley Ramirez, and sophomores Addy Siegel and Lauren Springfield all were chosen for the team.
All District
Vincik and Siegel were named Co-Most Valuable Players; Vancura made Offensive Player of the Year; Springfield was selected as Co-Pitcher of the Year.
Chosen for the First Team are Ramirez, Boedeker and junior Callie Sevcik.
Awarded Second Team are junior Dyllan Chrismon and sophomore Hailey Radicke.
Senior Aimee Mitchon, junior Jo Caka and sophomore Kloe Polasek all received Honorable Mention.
The Lady Comanches picked up their state record seventh title with a semifinal win over Crawford and defeated Beckville in the championship game. 
Shiner finished the season with 33 wins and three losses.
Shiner and Cohoama have the most appearances at the state tournament with 13 a piece for all classifications.
