    Several members of the 2024 Shiner Lady Comanches Class 2A state softball team won places on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team.
    Senior catcher Paeden Vincik was the Player of the Year and also made First Team Catcher. She hit .471 for the year with 17 doubles, eight home runs and 52 runs batted in for the 33-3 Lady Comanches.
    Sophomore Lauren Springfield made First Team Pitcher; senior Rylee Vancura made First Team First Baseman; junior Kailey Boedeker got First Team Third Baseman and junior Brinley Ramirez received First Team Outfielder.
    Head coach Jason Keller was selected as Coach of the Year.
    Sophomore Addy Siegel made Second Team Shortstop. Junior Callie Sevcik won Second Team Outfielder.
