    Dennis “Dink” E. Jalufka, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. 
    He was born on Sept. 14, 1944, in Lavaca County.
    He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Lesak and Brandi Thigpen (Chad); his sister, Nelda Pekar (Joseph); one granddaughter, four grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
    Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, July 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m.
    Graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 22 at Salem Cemetery in Ezzell.
