YHS Cross Country Teams host meet at Yoakum City Park

    The Yoakum High School (YHS) CrossCountry Teams hosted their home meet at City Park on Saturday with the varsity boys placing third and both junior varsity teams coming in second.

    VARSITY GIRLS

    1.5 MILES

    Gracei Martinez was No 12 in 10 minutes, 1.0 seconds and Angela Flores was No. 17 with 10:35.0.

    VARSITY BOYS

    2.25 MILES

    The YHS Varsity Bulldogs scored 74 points for third place.

    Aiden Alvarez placed second with 12:16.0. Trevor Moreno was No. 15 in 14:00.0; Aiden Jimenz was No. 19 with 14:11.0. Dominic Novak finished in 14:51.0 for No. 26, and Clayton Hlavac was No. 32 in 15:26.0.

    JV GIRLS 1.5 MILES

    The YHS Junior Varsity Lady Bulldogs took second with 43 points.

    Anaiah Theile was third with 11:02.0; Memori Rosales was sixth in 11:28.0 and KC Lawwill was also top 10 with No. 10 in 11:53.0. Madeline Lopez was No. 11 in 11:54.0.

    Maria Dulce Lara was No. 20 in 12:25.0 and Abeigh Dicke was No. 25 in 12:47.0.

    JV BOYS 2.25 MILES

    The Bulldogs made 49 points for second place.

    Adrian Blakeney was the top finisher with second place in 14:40.0 and Ian Pilat came in fourth in 15:04.0. Julian Espinoza was No 10 with a time of 15:33.0. Noah Jimenez was clocked at 15:44.0 for No. 12. Nathan Vo was No. 22 in 17:46.0.
