E L Mayberry

E L Mayberry, 82, of Shiner, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024.
He was born December 19, 1941 in Gonzales, to R L and Odessa James Mayberry. He was a welder and a carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing dominos, cooking and BBQ. He was a very generous man and was known for helping people.
Survivors include daughters, Rosalind Mayberry, Gloria Mayberry and Teresa Mayberry; sons, Terry Mayberry and Ervin Mayberry; sisters, Maxine Nation, Pastor Sandra Gates (Douglas) and Carolyn White; brothers, Ronnie Mayberry (JoNell), Marvin Mayberry (Jacqueline), Bruce Mayberry (Mary), Joe Lester Mayberry (Connie), Elvis Mayberry (Pearl) and James Mayberry; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nona Giles, Beulah Flowers and Emma Simmon; brothers, Floyd Mayberry and Morris Mayberry; and grandchildren, Roderick Franklin, Diante Franklin and Kerry Mayberry.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 27 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 28 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home, with Pastor Phillip Turner officiating. 
Burial will follow at Bluebonnet Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Bryan Franklin, Dequan Hall, Tristan Hall, Dustin Mayberry, Andre Mayberry and Jarvis Ford.
