Shiner football: Shiner JH teams go 1-1 against Industrial

    The Shiner junior varsity split their last two games while the junior high teams notched wins against Industrial.
    JV Football
    The Comanches defeated Poth 12-6 on Sept. 12. Kaden Neskora and Lane Simper had one touchdown each. Brycen Rosales caused a fumble in the fourth quarter.
    The Comanches lost a close one to Industrial 15-14 on Thursday. 
    Quarterback Simper scored one touchdown. 
    Neskora added one touchdown and one two-point conversion. 
    Emory Mesa got a sack on the defensive side.

    The junior high teams split with Industrial Thursday.
    The 7th grade won 28-6 with Reid Simper scoring three times: two rushing touchdowns and one pick-six. 
    Greyson Neskora scored on a quarterback sneak. Jaxon Werner led the defense with five tackles.
    The 8th grade took a 26-8 loss with a rushing touchdown by Zane Nitsch and Carson Christensen led the defense in solo tackles.
