Shiner volleyball: LC junior varsity Purple on a roll

    The Shiner Junior Varsity Purple team has a record of 11-1 (as of Oct. 10). The Lady Comanches won first in the Flatonia Tournament with wins over Hallettsville,  Rice Consolidated, Schulenburg and Sacred Heart.
    Shiner has also beaten Yoakum, Schulenburg, Weimar and Ganado; the lone loss was against East Bernard, 25-17, 25-19 and 15-9.
