Shiner girls basketball: Lady Comanches JV routs Weimar, gets win over GHS

Emersyn Boehm had a double double with 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Shiner junior varsity girls team to a 36-20 win over Weimar.
Shiner started well with a 12-2 scoring advantage in the first quarter and outscored Weimar 6-1 in the second frame for an 18-3 lead at halftime.
Weimar closed the gap to  24-15 at the end of the third quarter and Shiner put the game away with a 12-5 run in the fourth frame.
MaKenna Pish had two rebounds, one assist; Megan Burns had one rebound, one steal.
 Arabelle Carlisle had one rebound; Boehm also had nine rebounds, two assists; Olivia Akin had two assists, one rebound; Lexi Boner added seven rebounds, six steals, one assist.
Evy Johnson had four rebounds, one assist; Raleigh Moore recorded one rebound; Harper Lenehan finished with eight rebounds, two assists.

A 7-2 run in the fourth quarter resulted in the Lady Comanches defeating Ganado 20-15.
The two teams shared 26 points in the first quarter and no one scored any points in the second and the third boxes.
Boner led Shiner with six points.
