Boots Scootin’ Bash Saturday

For a number of the past years, this community held a Relay For Life event to help raise money for cancer research.

That type of event has gone to the wayside, but this year there will be a different event known as Boot Scootin Bash.

The Bash, which is sponsored by James and Zoy Kocian, will take place this Saturday evening at the Kocian Building located on the Courthouse Square in Hallettsville.

The event will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. and will include a meal, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and dancing with the entertainment provided by the Aaron Bell Band .

Cost for the Bash is $50 per person and its BYOB.

Organizers of the event said only 100 tickets will be sold and there are some still available.
