Shiner Comanche  Carson Schuette capped off his senior year of basketball with the District 28-2A Most Valuable Player award.
Teammates winning awards are Jake Simper and Jared Werner receiving First Team.
Boe Boehm got Second Team while Reese Carson and Landen Christensen each received Honorable Mention.
Comanches receiving Academic All-District are Kade Remschel, Jaydn Shimek, Brayden Sestak, Schuette, Werner, Carson, Boehm, Simper, Bode Werner, Quincy Jones, Christensen and Jarvis Williams.
The Comanches made the playoffs for the third straight year and had an overall record of 12-7. The junior varsity went undefeated in 16 games.
