Brahmas second in District golf

The Hallettsville Brahmas finished second in the District 25-AAA golf tournament held in Bay City Monday.

Liam Ferguson shot an 88, brother Elias Ferguson carded a 89, Trace Butschek 90, Bill Satterwhite 93 and Garret Appelt 103.

The Brahmas shot a team total of 360 to qualify for regional.

The Brahmas’ Team 2 shot a 445. Ty Sklar had the top score with a 101, Mason Grahmann shot a 102, Luke Freytag 109 and Connor Jansky 133.

Brailey Gohlke led the Lady Brahmas with a 102. Alaina Halata was next with a 121, Juliette Davenport 132 and Abigail Broughton 140. The total for the team was 495.
