Shiner track and field: Wright, Vesely competed at state track and field meet

    The Shiner track and field team had two contestants at the state meet last weekend. 
    JaMya Wright tied for eighth in the high jump with Frankston’s Kaysie Nabors. Wright cleared 4 feet, 8 inches on her first attempt, and got 4-10 and 5-0 on the first attempt as well. She missed all three attempts on 5-2.
    Triston Vesely placed ninth in the 100-meter dash with time of 11.12 seconds on Saturday.
