Moulton cross country: Kittens place fifth in Yoakum CC meet

The Moulton varsity cross-country teams kicked off their season at the Yoakum Bullgog Invitational on Saturday with the girls placing fifth.
Varsity Girls (1.5 miles)
The Kittens recorded 102 points and were led by Ava Olivarez, who earned a top 10 finish with eighth in 10 minutes, 28.3 seconds. Karsyn Blahuta was No. 10 in 10:31.81; MIna Tinajero was No. 29 in 11:11.34; Kate Mikulencak was No. 32 in 11:17.89; Addison Simper finished in 11:50.4 for No. 47; Marisol Manzano took No. 54 in 12:16.13, followed by Addisyn Grieve (12:21.75) and Katie Richter in 12:25..47.
Varsity Boys (2.23 miles)
Judson Anderle led Moulton with a No. 38 finish in 15:08.38. Bryan Fernandez earned No. 46 with 15:36.41 and Pierce Andrew finished in 17:02.9 for No. 61.
