Moulton cross country:Kittens varsity CC win district

    The Moulton Kittens varsity won the district title at the district meet Saturday and advance to the regional meet.
    Varsity Girls
    The Kittens scored 16 points to thoroughly win the varsity girls race.
    Ava Olivarez won the race with a time of 14 minutes, 30.17 seconds, followed by Karsyn Blahuta in 14:51.11
    Kate Mikulencak was third with 15:18.9 and behind her was Addisyn Grieve in 15:31.33.
    Mina Tinajero was seventh with 15:52.06, followed by Addison Simper (16:03.26) and Marisol Manzano (16:06.13).
    Varsity Boys
    Judson Anderle was No. 11 in 20:31.6; Bryan Fernandez was No. 13 in 20:42.51. Both runners advance to regionals.
    JV Girls
    Katie Richter was first in 17:14.
    JH Girls
    Blakeley Pilat was first in 14:08; Rena Pierce was third in 14:58, followed by Victoria Simper in 15:53. Kyler Mikulencak was eighth in 16:07.
    JH Boys
    Hudson Colburn was sixth in 14:17.69; Nicholas Simper was No. 11 in1 5:45 and Lorenzo Tousek was No. 13 in 17:27.34.
