Shiner girls basketball: Lady Comanches fall to Hallettsville
Lexi Boner and Addy Siegel each scored eight points while Jaliyah Barnett netted six points as Shiner fell to Hallettsville 55-34 at home on Nov. 24.
The Lady Brahmas led 14-3 after eight minutes and outscored Shiner 14-8 in the second quarter for a 28-11 advantage at halftime.
Shiner got within 31-24 at the end of the third quarter before Hallettsville scored 17 of 27 points in the fourth quarter.

Hallettsville led 6-3 after one quarter and 9-7 at halftime.
Both teams scored eight in the third box.
Emersyn Boehm led Shiner with eight points and a triple while Marie Johnson had six points.
Woodring led the LBs with seven points.
Also for Shiner, Megan Burns had one steal; Madi Hubbard had three rebounds, two steals.
Taylor Kocian finished with five rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Timbarlynn Jones added seven rebounds, one assist; Tinsley Vasek had one steal; Johnson had five rebounds, two steals, one assist; Harper Lenehan contributed eight rebounds, one steal, and Boehm had four steals and one assist.
