Shiner girls: Lady Comanches defeat FC, fall to Goliad in recent games
The Lady Comanches split a pair of games the week of Dec. 15 against Goliad and Falls City
Goliad 46, Shiner 36
Goliad outscored Shiner 24-16 in the second half for a 46-36 win after leading 22-20 at halftime Dec. 16 in Shiner.
The game was 11-11 after eight minutes and Goliad outscored Shiner 11-9 in the second period.
The Tigerettes went on a 15-11 third-quarter run and scored nine of 14 points in the final frame.
Addy Siegel led Shiner with 21 points; Goliad’s top scorer was Sierra Arriazola who netted 23 points and three triples.

Shiner led 10-0 after one quarter and went on an 18-2 run on the second frame.The Lady Comanches went on a 15-0 run in the third quarter, and each team netted two points in the fourth quarter.

Siegel hit three triples and booked 11 points while Emerysn Boehm contributed eight points in Shiner’s 33-27 win at Falls City Dec. 19.
Shiner led 8-7 after one quarter and 21-19 at halftime.The Lady Comanches took a 26-21 lead in the third frame before edging Falls City 7-6 in the fourth quarter.
Ruple paced the Beaverettes with nine points.
