St. Paul went 2-1 in Van Vleck Tournament last Thursday through Saturday.
St. Paul 7, Galveston Ball 2
St. Paul outscored Galveston Ball 6-1 in the third inning and defeated the Tornadoes 7-2 to open the Van Vleck Tournament on Thursday morning. 
St. Paul scored one run in the top of the first inning.
Hayden Rother was St. Paul’s top hitter as she went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
Presley Rother pitched the entire game with two hits, two runs, one batter hit, two walks and seven strikeouts.
Reese Patek made seven putouts on defense.

Emery Kennedy went 3-for-3, hit a home run, scored two runs, doubled and had six RBI in an 11-4 win over host Van Vleck later on Thursday. 
Hayden Rother went 3-for-3 with two runs and Patek hit 2-for-3 with one run. 
The Lady Cardinals led 4-1 after one inning and 8-3 after two innings. Van Vleck scored one run in the third inning; St. Paul sealed the win by scoring three in the fourth inning.
Tatum Walker pitched for St. Paul with four hits, four runs, one walk and four strikeouts in four innings pitched.
Presley Rother and Patek each made two putouts.

Sweeny outscored St. Paul 4-1 in the opening inning and went on to win 5-3 on Saturday. 
Sweeny took a 5-1 lead in the second frame and the Lady Cardinals got within 5-2 in the third before scoring one in the fifth inning.
At the plate, Patek was 2-for-2, run and double while Eden Rodriguez hit 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Presley Rother pitched three innings with five runs on seven hits, one batter hit, two walks and four strikeouts. Walker worked one inning with one hit, one batter hit, one walk and two strikeouts.
