    The St. Paul baseball team went 1-2 in the Sacred Heart tournament last week.

    Both St. Paul and Logos Prep Academy each got four hits in their tournament game on Friday but St. Paul led in the stat that counts — runs.
    Jace Matias hit a home run in a 1-0 win for the Cardinals in the fourth inning. Brodey Biehunko got two hits and a double.
    Evan Rother pitched a four-hit shutout with two walks and six strikeouts. Biehunko made six putouts in the field.

    Tidehaven scored a single run in the fifth inning to edge the Cardinals 1-0 later on Friday.
    St. Paul got four hits: one each by CJ Fogle, Biehunko, Jack Leonard and Andy Nunez.
    Fogle pitched seven innings, one hit, one run, three walks and struck out 13.
    Biehunko had five putouts.

    The Cardinals could not get anything going in their last tournament game, against fellow city of Shiner team, the Comanches.
    St. Paul was unable to get a hit and unable to score a run in a 5-0 loss.
    Shiner scored four runs in the third inning and one run in the fourth.
    Leonard pitched 2 2/3 innings with four runs on three hits, three walks and three strikeouts. Ian Kennedy worked 3 1/3 innings in relief with two hits, one run and one batter hit.
    Fogle had four putouts and two assists on defense.
