    The area-round finalist Shiner boys basketball team had three players receive special awards for All-District.
    Sophomore Jarvis Williams was named Newcomer of the Year.  Freshman Levi Werner received 6th Man of the Year and senior Reese Carson was selected as Defensive MVP.
    Senior Jake Simper and junior Felix Nieto each made the First Team.
    Getting Second-Team honors was senior Boe Boehm.
    Junior Landen Christensen and sophomore Kaden Neskora each got Honorable Mention.
    Williams was also named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-Region Team.
