Still making headlines at 106

On March 14, Elenora Butschek celebrated her 106th birthday with family and friends at Hallettsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Elenora and her husband, Victor (deceased), raised three children: Patricia Horbelt, Victor Butschek (Gayle), and Cindy Price. She is a proud grandmother of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Elenora is a retired nurse of 45 years, who loved square dancing, hunting, and gambling. She still loves music, exercise, parties, playing bingo, going on outings, and attending Sacred Heart Mass.

She is an inspiration and mentor to everyone around her. Her HNRC family wishes her many more birthdays in good health and full of happiness.
