Investigation continues in Saturday night bailout

The Lavaca County Sheriff ’s Office is continuing to investigate an overnight bailout incident that occurred near the Lavaca/Jackson County line on Highway 111 on Saturday night, April 25.According to a LCSO report, deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle near SH 111 and County Road 1 which led to the vehicle trying to flee from the stop.As the deputies pursued the vehicle, it crashed in the…
