Shiner volleyball: Shiner Junior High volleyball players competed in summer league

Shiner Junior High volleyball players recently completed a successful spring league season. The league featured teams from Shiner, Shiner St. Paul, Yoakum, Hallettsville, Hallettsville Sacred Heart, Weimar, Gonzales, and Flatonia, providing valuable competition and opportunities for athletes to continue developing their skills during the offseason.
The Shiner 8th grade team capped off an outstanding season by winning the league tournament championship. The 7th grade team also had an impressive showing, finishing as tournament runner-up and earning a second-place finish.
The spring league allowed players to gain valuable game experience, improve their volleyball fundamentals, and compete against quality opponents from surrounding communities. The success of both teams is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the athletes throughout the spring season.
The Shiner volleyball program is proud of the effort and sportsmanship displayed by all of its junior high athletes and looks forward to seeing their continued growth in the future.
