ALTAIR – The Lady Brahmas are 2-0 in District 25AAA after a 19-0 whitewashing of Rice Consolidated Tuesday, March 3.The Halata sisters – Grace and Caitlynn – both homered to lead a 16-hit attack.Addy Matula hit three doubles and drove in four runs and Grace Halata produced three hits.

Lady Brahmas go 4-1 in Weimar Tournament

WEIMAR – The Lady Brahmas won three games and lost two in the Weimar Tournament.LB 8, Weimar 4In the final game Saturday, Hallettsville defeated Weimar, 8-4.Hallettsville produced eight hits.Elizabeth Felcman was the winning pitcher.

Lady Brahmas win district opener

The Lady Brahmas runruled Tidehaven 15-0 in five innings in the District 25- AAA opener for both teams here Tuesday, Feb. 24.Grace Halata gave up one hit, walked five and struck out seven in pitching all five innings. She also hit her first home run of the season, doubled and went 2-for-3.

LB soccer wins, loses

The LB defeated Rice Consolidated and lost to Bay City last week.The LB defeated Rice Consolidated 4-3 in Altair Monday, Feb. 16.Avery Woodring scored two goals and Kaisly Bludau and Analisse Goode one each.Goalie Timiya Sheppard had eight saves and Abby Ressler three steals.

LB in Wimberley Tournament

WIMBERLEY –The Lady Brahmas went 1-3- 1 in the Wimberley Tournament.The Lady Brahmas’ lone victory was 13-0 over Aubrey Saturday.Grace Halata pitched the four inning game and gave up one hit, walked four and struck out six.

LB soccer defeats Columbus, 3-1

Lady Brahma soccer broke a 1-1 tie with two goals in the second half to take a 3-1 victory over Columbus here Thursday night.The LB first goal in the first half was scored by Abby Ressler and Ava Prasek and Kaisly Bludau scored the second half goals.

LB split opening games

The Lady Brahmas opened the season with a win over Odem and a loss to El Campo.The LB defeated Odem 12-0 in four and a half innings here Friday.The Hallettsville offense produced 12 hits and Grace Halata struck out 11 and walked four in the four and a half inning game.

LB win regular season finale

The Lady Brahmas ended the regular season with a 37-33 low-scoring victory over Palacios on Sr. Night here Tuesday, Feb. 10 in a District 25- AAA game.Palacios took advantage of Hallettsville turnovers to take a 9-8 lead at the first break.

Poth prevails in bi-district game

SEGUIN – The Lady Brahmas’ season came to a crashing halt with a 50-24 loss to Poth in a 3A, Division I bi-district playoff game Monday night in the Seguin High School Activities Center.
