USDA adds $26 million more to Texas broadband expansion projects

The Agriculture Department announced recently an additional $401 million for high-speed internet access in rural communities would soon be distributed to various companies nationwide.  Of that, two Texas companies will receive $26.41 million in grants, USDA reported. The first grant, totaling $16.

Connected Nation released broadband survey findings

Representatives from the nonprofit Connected Nation met with several local and regional officials in Cuero last week for the much-anticipated release of the group’s broadband internet survey findings, having completed their surveys earlier this year in both Lavaca and DeWitt counties.
