St. Paul baseball: Cards beat NS, go unbeaten in tourney

HALLETSVILLE —  The St. Paul Cardinals won two games and tied one game at the Sacred Heart Tournament last Thursday and Saturday. St. Paul 7, Logos Prep 4 The St.

Both St. Paul golf teams took first place in the Yoakum Tournament last week. Girls The Lady Cards had a team score of 428. Courtney Tuch placed first with 96 and Anna Reeves followed with 101. Riley Mozisek tied for fourth with 107. Mary Sue Filip was No.

The St. Paul track team competed at the Rice Relays on Thursday while the SLE team SP Varsity Girls The Lady Cardinals took fourth place with 78 points. 800 — 1st, Brooke Cerny, 2:30.21. 110 Hurdles — 6th, Petra Koch, 17.93. 800 Relay — 4th, St.

Shiner softball: LC open district with 13-4 win over Weimar

The Shiner softball team started the season with a pretty grueling  schedule with the knowledge of how tough district opponent Weimar is. Especially in the pitching department. The gamble paid of for the Lady Comanches as they started district agains the Lady Wildcats on Feb.

Shiner girls golf: Shiner girls golf win Weimar tourney

Shiner Lady Comanches won the Weimar Tournament March 1 with a total score of 410. Chelsea Whiddon was third medalist with 94; Megan Winkenwerder scored a 103; Bri Sofka and Callie Chrismon each carded a 111.Lauren Faldyn registered a 112.

Shiner baseball:Comanches win Sacred Heart Tournament

HALLETTSVILLE — The Shiner baseball team went 3-0 in the Sacred Heart Tournament last week, averaging nine runs scored a game and not giving up a single run. Senior Drew Wenske was named Tournament MVP and senior Ryan Peterson made the All-Tournament Team.

Shiner track and field:Shiner girls TF win Edna meet

The Shiner track and field teams competed in their first meet on Thursday at the Edna Cowboy Relays with the varsity girls earning first place and varsity boys placing top four. Varsity Girls The Lady Comanches won the meet with 129 points, one more than East Bernard. 100 — 1st, Jaleah Curtis, 13.

Shiner tennis: Home tournament results

The Shiner tennis team held its home tournament on Feb. 20. Varsity Girls Singles Jordan Munsch placed third. Girls Doubles Haley Patek and Julie Ivy placed second. Boys Singles Kyle Adamek earned first place, Dylan Cerny was second and Cade Murrile came in third place.
